Sunday Riley Skincare

Sunday Riley is a skincare brand that most people are interested in but hesitate in purchasing because of the price tag, but as soon as people purchase one thing they just keep going back because the products are that good, and that's exactly what is happening to me, I started in one but now I own 4 of their products, well one is gifted to me so thank you Sunday.

You guys know how much I love my Artemis Oil so I went ahead and purchased the oh-so-famous Luna Sleeping Oil and Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment, and the Sunday Riley team was kind enough to send me the newly launched Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. I have been using these products for the past 2 weeks so today I'm gonna tell you all about them so let's begin.

Let's talk about the Tidal cream first because it is as I said, newly launched so you are probably wondering how it is so here are my thoughts and hopefully it is helpful if you are thinking of purchasing it.

It is an all in one cream that supposed to brighten, smooth and hydrate the skin all at once because of the amazing ingredients such as Alpha Arbutin and Giant White Bird of Paradise Extract which are proven to brighten hyperpigmentation, increase skin luminosity and even tone. Papain, which is an enzyme found in papaya to smooth and refine skin texture for a soft and clear complexion. 2 forms of Hyaluronic Acid and Tamarind Seed Extract, to hydrate the skin, plump fine lines and provide strong antioxidant properties. It is formulated to hydrate the skin up to 24 hours, and of course like all Sunday Riley products, it is without parabens, or any other nasty chemicals and preservatives. Although it does contain fragrance so some might find irritating but for me it smells rather lovely, like a nice perfume but not overly strong. It does linger but it disappears after 10 or 15 minutes.

(I hope you can see that my hand is definitely more brightened, even and hydrated after)

I don't know about 24 hours hydration because I never leave it on that long but it is indeed very hydrating and it just feels luxurious and rich, great for someone who has dry or very skin skin. It has a gel cream texture that goes on smoothly, and absorbs almost instantly, but still provides this luminosity on the skin. It is a cream, a gel cream rather but it feels like an nourishing oil so if you do suffer from dry skin, look no further.

Good Genes is a serum that contains Lactic Acid so that it exfoliates the skin while provides the hydration. I alternate between this and the Luna oil and it has been working well for my skin. I don't notice a big difference but my skin does look pretty even and bright in the morning.  The thing is for the high price tag, I just need it to do a little more than what it does to my skin right now. I don't think it is an essential for me personally but it does feel nice, and I have to say I love the scent, sort of like spicy cinnamon pie so well done Sunday!

Luna, However, I would re-purchse because I see the change of my skin more than with Good Genes. I think my skin just really loves any Retinoid product. I mean my skin looks so plumped and youthful in the morning, and feels ultra soft and smooth so I'm really happy with it. Another thing I like about Luna is that it sinks in immediately, my skin doesn't feel greasy at all, and  please don't mind the blue tint because it does go away as soon as you rub it in. I don't find it irritating, it is just an good all around anti-aging serum that any woman who are aged 30 and above should give it a go. I know that a lot of people dislike the scent, and I admit it, it is pretty off-putting at first but it kinda grows on me so I don't mind it at all.

(blue tint is gone after rubbing in, leaves the skin luminous and hydrated)

Just FYI, for the ultimate anti-aging result, you can layer all 3 products together, first Luna after toning, then Good Genes and finally seal everything in with Tidal. I did this 3 nights in a row and I gotta say the result is pretty amazing. My skin just looks healthy, radiant and plumped.

All in all Sunday Riley gets a thumbs up for the products, and if you ask me, I would totally re-purchse my beloved Artemis, and now Luna so there you have it! Hopefully this is somewhat helpful and if you have any skincare questions please leave them below or email me if you like. Thank you and see you all next week!
