Brand Focus: Hylamide

Now Hylamide as a brand is all over the beauty world lately, especially their booster series, they are just raved and loved by many beauty bloggers and vloggers, and I thought to myself why didn't I get one of the popular products to try, and some non-talked about products and see if they were any good, and I am blown away! I'm just gonna tell you right now that I'm loving all the products I got, and I might have just ordered something else as we speak.

If you don't know the company: The Abnormal Beauty Company AKA. Deciem, a Canadian company that does many other brands, and their products are based on science and high technologies, and of course Hylamide is actually one of the many brands that the company carries, and they are all pretty affordable comparing to the other brand like NIOD, and yes, it is another most raved brand, but it is slightly more expensive. The company also has haircare products, body, skincare of course, not yet makeup as far as I know so take a look on their site and I assure you'll find something that suits your taste and budget, ohh and you do get free shipping on any product so thumbs up for that!

Let's start with the product I like the most: Hylamide Photography Foundation in Transparent from the Finisher Series. It's not a foundation, just so you know, it's an illuminating primer if you ask me. I guess you can use it as a foundation if you have the perfect skin. It has a nice pearly golden iridescence but very subtle that you almost can't detect in natural lighting, but you can see a nice sheen if your face is in direct sunlight, so it's a beautiful product for girls who likes natural makeup. You can use it as a primer of course, or mix in with foundations, and even over your foundations on certain areas to highlight the face, but again it is very subtle so I personally do not recommend using it as an highlighter unless you really like an natural highlight.

It is smooth, non greasy, dries matte and great under foundations. I'm obsessed with this product and I don't think I would ever go without it now. The thing makes it so different than any other illuminating primers is the subtleness it gives, it's like almost not there, but it's there. You know what I mean?! Seriously try it, and you'll know what I am on about! It retails for 22 Euros (30ml), and it comes with 2 other shades in Golden Tan and Dark Tan for darker skin tones or if you like a nice bronzy glow for this time fo the year then go for the darker shades.

And speaking of primer, I also purchased the Hylamide HA Blur, because for me a good primer is everything, and this is that primer. It is also from the Finisher Series, and it has Hyaluronic based Prism Technology for visible blurring and plumping! I do like the sound of that, and it really does what it says!

It comes out like a thicker gel, a little sticky at first, but the more you rub it in, the silkier it becomes, seriously my face feels like a silky pillow case. It blurs my pores, imperfections, fine lines, don't know about plumping, but I guess it does because my face looks so even, and hydrated, which brings me joy because I hate drying primers.

This primer is gonna be my ultimate makeup item this summer, and to be honest I even mixed it with the Photography Foundation, and together they are flawless. I highly recommend you checking them out because they are fabulous in every way possible. HA Blur retails for 19 Euros (30ml).

Hylamide SubQ Eyes Advanced Serum is probably the most talked about product in the beauty world. It is all over on Instagram, and I just had to test it out. It's from the Core Series, and it retails for 33 euros (15ml).

It has skincare technologies that are supposed to give hydration not only on the surface of the skin, but also underneath. It reduces puffiness, fine lines, and dark circles. I have been using it for the past 1 week or 2, and I can tell you that it does smooth out my under eye areas nicely, as far as dark circles, I haven't noticed a significant change, but to be honest, my under eye circles aren't that bad so maybe that's why.

In terms of texture, it has a lotion/essence-like texture, and it does feel very lightweight, not tacky whatsoever, and one drop is all you need for both eyes so a little goes a long way. We all know that eye creams can be expensive, and for the price this is an pretty darn good eye cream for both young and mature skins so give it a go!

That's it, I love these Hylamide products and I will be looking into some of the boosters in the near future because again I love them, I love the brand, hope this is helpful, and if you have any questions on these products, leave them down below or email me if you want. Thank you for reading and see you next week! ☺️
