July Favourites

Monday, 19 December 2016

Hello August! And to "celebrate" this hot hot month, I'll share with you beauty junkies my July Favourites... How's that sound?!

I'll start with my skincare faves in July. Both of which I have talked about in details in my previous posts so go check them out if you are interested.

  • Blue Labelle Argan & Sea Buckthorn face oil. I love this oil. It just feels so lush on the skin, smooth in texture, spreads evenly, no funky scent, packed with all natural ingredients and very nourishing so I'm really happy I got this, and I'll definitely buy another when this runs out!
  • Hylamide SubQ Eyes. Now this is the only eye serum/cream that I have tried in the past I could actually see "anti-aging" result. It just really smooths out my under eye area, and makes it look plumped, bright, and lines free.
Face makeup faves of July has to be:

  • Hylamide HA Blur: this baby saves my face from this heat wave. I seriously cannot live without it. It just instantly mattifies my skin without making it dry, and my foundation goes on smoothly, and makes it last that much longer. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good primer for summer.
  • Sephora Wonderful Cushion Natural Glow face luminizer. Now this highlighter has been in my monthly favourites 2 months in a row, and if that doesn't say "favourite" I don't know what does. I have been loving this ever since I got it like 2 months ago, and this is hands down one of the best, if not the best highlighters I've ever used. The colour, the texture, the result, the longevity, everything about this baby is what I'm looking for in a good highlighter so if you haven't tried it already, you are missing out!
Eye makeup faves of July:

  • Benefit single eyeshadow in Rich Beach + MAC 217. This eye combo has been my eye hero for the past month because it's so easy and quick thanks to MAC 217 which is literally the best eyeshadow brush in my opinion, and pair with the bronzy warm taupe eyeshadow is simply perfection for summer. Now I believe this eyeshadow is discontinued as I cannot find it anywhere but any bronzy eyeshadow would look great this time of the year.
  • KIKO Eyebrow Marker (02) is something I discovered recently, and I have been obsessed ever since. It dispenses tiny little bit of pigment which makes it perfect for filling in eye brows. It looks so natural, and I'm hooked. I would say though I think this marker would dry out easily because I could see mine already dried out a little after only 2 weeks of use, but for the price (6 euros) I guess it's okay.

Last but not least, is everyone's favourite that I finally decided to try, and boy do I love it!!!

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, and may I just say the hype is real people! It really does work. It dries fast, makes my nails look extra shiny like I'm putting on gel top coat, and the most I like about it is that even if I mess up with my nail vanish, I can use this to smooth out any mistakes. It also makes my nail colours last longer, and no chip for 6 days. It is amazing. I love it!

And that's it. These are my July Faves, and if you have any Qs, feel free to comment, and I shall see you next Tuesday! Happy August!
