T.O.S.e Apothecary Skincare and Bodycare Range

Monday, 16 October 2017

I've recently received the whole skincare and bodycare range from T.O.S.e Apothecary and let me tell ya, these handmade all natural products are simply divine. You guys know how much I love the Wild Rose Facial Serum by this brand so the founder Abha who is the loveliest lady I know has kindly sent over the entire line for me to try and I couldn't be happier because these are some of the best green beauty products on the market today.

Let's talk about her face oils first because girls can never have too many face oils am I right?! Like the Wild Rose Serum, these two oils are light, delightful to use and absorbs almost instantly, never feel greasy or sticky. The Organic Argan Oil is clear, and this is great for someone who has normal to dry skin because Argan has a fantastic moisturizing property to it plus it's rich in antioxidants so it's good for the skin, hair, and body. As for her Organic Rosehip Oil, it's good for people who suffer from hyperpigmentations, skin dullness or fine lines and wrinkles as the vitamins and fatty acids in this little bottle would really help to replenish, brighten and nourish your skin. It has a yellow toned colour to it just like other rosehip oils, and it has a distinct smell but much lighter than the Pai Rosehip Oil, kind of like cucumber if you will, very refreshing actually. I'm loving it. I like to mix a pump of the Rosehip oil, a pump of the Argan oil and 3 drops of Jordan Samuel Retinol oil for my night time serum/moisturiser, and my skin has never looked better.

(the clear one is Argan oil and the yellow toned is Rosehip)

You know I'm a cleanser freak so that's why I'm so happy that I got to try her not-yet-launched Clean Green Facial Cleanser. It's made with 100% natural/organic ingredients and they all work so well together in terms of cleansing and exfoliating the skin in the gentlest way possible. It's a 2 in 1 product so I don't think you need it every day although it's gentle enough to use it every single day. I use it 3 times a week and sometimes if I'm feeling a little drier than usual, I'd mix with a couple drops of her face serum or face oils to give a hydrating and glowing effect. It's really easy to use, just add water and mix into a paste, and if you want to use it as a mask, you can use rose water, honey or yogurt, a couple drops of her serums and leave it on for like 5-10 minutes and rinse off. Trust me, your skin will look amazing afterward.  Again, this is not launched yet but if you are interested just drop an email or contact her on social media

I don't know about you but for me, I get dry lips easily when the weather changes so frequent exfoliating and moisturising are crucial. I have been testing her Vanilla & Coffee Butter Lip Scrub for the past a couple of weeks and it's unlike other lip scrubs I've tried in the past. It's very liquidy which I don't mind but I prefer a denser scrub like HennĂ© Organic Lip Scrub. But that being said if you have sensitive lips you might want to try this one because it's very gentle plus smells amazing, like a good cup of coffee, perfect to use in the morning before putting on lipsticks.

And to moisturise, I have been using the Organic Vanilla Lip Balm. It's very smooth, smells amazing, works really well but you do have to reapply throughout the day so it makes a great handbag essential.

If you are someone who loves to indulge and relax I suggest you check out her body range because they are all freaking fantastic. So, on my pamper night, I like to start with her Refresh Your Senses Bath Salts which smells incredible, so refreshing and relaxing as it's made with Lavander Oil, Dead Sea Salt, Lavander Flower and all that goodness. IT WILL CALM YOU DOWN AND PUT YOU TO A RELAXING MODE AND READY FOR BED. I'm falling head over heels with it and I might have to buy it when it's launched so stay tuned because you don't want to miss out on this one as it will change your bath experience.

I, sometimes, like to exfoliate while I'm in the tub so I have been using the French Clay & Lemongrass Detoxifying Body Scrub, and O. M to the G... It smells divine and I can't believe how hydrating this stuff is. You can also use it in the morning while in the shower because the zingy lemon scent would really wake you up and make you ready to face the busy day ahead. As for scrubbing away dead skin cells, it's okay, not great, because of the gentle formula. I still prefer coffee scrubs but this is a great option for daily use, and for dry/sensitive skin peeps.

And to complete my pamper ritual, I seal everything in with her Ylang Ylang & Macadamia Body Oil which is the best smelling body product I have ever tried! I honestly don't know what Ylang Ylang smells like but I guess it smells amazing because this one is just beautiful. You have to use it while your body is still wet then just towel dry, and it just makes the skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated after. It absorbs instantly, has zero nasties in it and it also makes a great face oil. I've contacted the founder and she has confirmed that it's absolutely safe to use on the face plus it has Q10 which makes it a great antiageing face product.

So there you have it, the entire T.O.S.e line. Honestly, these are incredible and so good for the skin so if you are a green beauty lover like me, go check them out and you won't regret it.
