1001 Remedies Must-Haves

Monday, 6 November 2017

Well, hello beauties, this week on Elaine's beauty reviews is all about natural skincare and wellbeing remedies that would make you feel and look better so, let me introduce you for the very first time - 1001 Remedies, who was born in the birthplace of aromatherapy - France, and makes the most beautiful products combining a Moroccan herbal heritagea French unique scientific savoir-faire and a touch of Parisian "je ne sais quoithat are not only good for our skin but also good for our health, so without further ado, let me show you my most loved product from the brand - PURAIR

This is basically a room spray but it's an aromatherapy room spray that is 100% from natural origin based on a blend of 19 organic essential oils for purer air. I wish you could smell this baby through my blog, OMG, it's such a gorgeous wintery scent that is refreshing, spicy and uplifting. It has Cinnamon Essential Oil that will reinforce our natural immunity with its strong antiviral and anti-bacterial properties, Peppermint Oil that adds a touch of freshness, Ravintsara which has anti-microbial properties, will purify our environment and envelop our home in a protective shield allowing us to breathe a cleaner air and Eucalyptus Oil which is a great source for protecting our bodies against cold and flu thanks to its antiviral properties. This is not just your normal smell-good room spray, it's also a good product for long-term health benefit.

So what you want to do is spraying in the morning when you wake up to really give yourself an energy boost, and spray again in the evening on your pillow and sheets to relax so you fall asleep easily. You can also get the travel size to spray whenever and wherever to refresh and kill unwanted bacterias. I'm obsessed with this stuff and I don't think I could live without it now. Definitely a must-have from the brand for all household. Just be aware that if you have babies that are less than a year old, please do not spray in their presence.

Next goodie is something that I've never thought I could benefit from it but I have, and it's the Treasure Oil by 1001 Remedies, that is made with 100% certified organic Argan Oil. Now I have tried so many good Argan oils for the skin in my life but never in a million years that I have loved any Argan oil like this one, not on my skin but on my hair. For those of you who don't know, I have greasy/fine hair that is lack of volume all the time so the last thing I want to do is putting on oils but this one is a pleasant surprise. I normally leave it on for an hour then wash off with shampoo, and there's just something about it that makes my hair shiny but not greasy, full of life, and I don't feel it weighs down my hair at all. So now treating my hair with this oil is part of my weekly pampering routine. I do it once a week and my hair has never looked healthier! A must-have if you have dull, damaged hair and troubled roots.

(It absorbs instantly, see, doesn't even look shiny)

Last but not least is the Magic Skin Repair Gel that is made with 14 organic active ingredients such as Aleo Vera, Myrrh Oil, Rock Rose, Helichrysum etc. to gently smooth away skin blemishes and imperfections. Now, I have pretty normal skin, and I don't get blemishes very often so I can't tell you how well it really works in that area, but I would say though, it soothes and cools down the skin instantly because of the Aleo Vera, and I love how refreshing it smells, kind of like the room spray minus the spicy note.

It is recommended to use on spots and blemishes or anywhere that you have imperfections so you really shouldn't use it on your entire face. It gives a matte finish and I really just like how refreshing it is. You should know that all 1001 Remedies products are free from paraben, chemicals, and conservatives so they are very safe to use, but the Magic Skin Gel does have a high alcohol content so if you are trying to avoid alcohol in your skincare routine perhaps this is not a product for you. I would recommend a patch test (dab a small amount at the back of your ear) as all of their products are essential oil based so if you are sensitive you should really test them out before use.

So there you have it, gorgeous products from the brand, and for me, the room spray and the Argan oil are absolute must-haves so if you want to try something from 1001 Remedies, starting with these two would be a great idea, trust me, you won't be disappointed.
