Moksa Skincare and Bodycare Essentials

Wednesday, 4 April 2018

I have been testing out some products from an all natural skincare and bodycare brand called Moksa and I thought I should share my experience with you because, for one thing, sharing is loving, and for another, some of the products from the range are outstanding so without further ado, let's start our Moksa journey...

I want to start with my most loved product in the range which is the Grapefruit & Lemongrass Body Oil. This is hands down, one of the best smelling body oils I've ever used. It instantly puts me in a better mood. The lemongrass is not overpowering whatsoever but very fresh and uplifting. I'm obsessed with the scent, and as far as texture goes, it is light yet hydrating. I have nothing bad to say about it, just pure joy and well, more joy! I have already finished this little sample bottle, and I'm definitely gonna go for the full size.

Moksa also kindly sent me the Facial Ritual Trial Kit which is perfect for travel, and every product goes so well together. My most used product in the kit has to be the Wild Rose Toning Mist which smells divine and so hydrating and calming. I love a good rose mist and this one is heavenly, the rose scent is not strong at all and the mist is pretty nice, not the finest but what I like to do is spray some on my face and pat in with my palms. It gives a subtle, realistic glow-from-the-within look and my skin feels so comfortable after.

The Wild Rose Facial Elixir is another favourite of mine. I guess I just really like rose infused skincare. Roses are known for their brightening effect, they are also good ingredients for hydrating and calming the skin so what's not to like right?! This one has a nice golden colour and again, it smells nice and light like all Moksa products do and it sinks in fast and feels comfortable on the skin. If dull, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentations are your main concerns, a good rosehip oil is in need.

(before and after shots of using both cleansing oil and rose elixir, and the result is brighter skin)

The last product in the kit is Lavender & Chamomile Cleansing Oil, and I have to say, it's pretty great as a pamper night cleansing/massaging product as it feels really nice on the skin and it doesn't emulsify. It's not the best I've tried as far as cleansing oil goes but it's nice. I have nothing bad to say about it but, I wouldn't buy the full size just because I already have some cleansing oil faves plus I prefer one of those emulsifying ones as you probably know it by now. But that being said, I like that it's natural, it feels nice and it's not too expensive as well so if you like lavender or if you have sensitive skin (as it contains chamomile), you might want to give it a go. It also comes with a duo-sided face cloth that actually works. I really like the softer side because it's gentle.

All in all, I give 4,5 out of 5 for Moksa, especially the rose range and the body oil. They are divine.

Have you tried any of their products? Thoughts?
